Consequent to the appeal filed against the order of the Commercial Tax Officer (CTO), the Appellate Authority of VAT set aside the tax demand of Commercial Tax Officer (CTO) amounting to Rs. 61,93,380/- and penalty demand of Rs. 41,34,053/-. However, the Appellate Authority confirmed tax amount of Rs. 4,68,317/- and penalty of Rs. 2,34,159/-. The Company will be writing to the CTO to adjust the above amount in the pre-deposit made and refund the balance amounts. This was intimated to the Stock Exchanges on August 25, 2025
