The IBA had taken up the matter with CBIC (IBA was directed by RBI) and Bank was informed by IBA that a clarification in this regard will be provided by CBIC, but till date no clarification was provided by CBIC. 2. The Bank is proactively engaging with Indian Banking Association (IBA) / Reserve Bank of India to expedite on obtaining clarification over taxability of such transactions from the CBIC, following the RBI's directives on the matter to IBA for engaging with CBIC. 3.
