Action Taken: Qapita Fintech PTE LTD identified the incident initially on 29th October 2025 but did not informed the YES BANK about the same. Now when it came up as a Ransomware incident on 22nd Jan 2026 they informed the Bank and accordingly the Bank is reporting the same.

Bank has witnessed Bin Attack on the Forex Prepaid card issued by Book My Forex MCTC Card Bin 462098 The transactions were witnessed from 3:30 AM to 8:30AM performed in Brazil. 7171 transactions were performed of which 1852 transactions were approved. The exposure on 1852 transactions is approx USD 228 thousand pending validation from 973 unique Prepaid cards. 688 transactions were declined basis the Risk rule with a decline saves of approx. USD 1 lakh. The transactions were witnessed across 15 unique merchants Action taken: All transaction without 2FA from Brazil location have been blocked Discussion initiated with Visa team for clarification and corrective actions Approx 3902 Prepaid card has been blocked by Digital Banking team.
